Havgal
A herring gull stands perfectly still on the wet stones while the sea runs high and breaks white behind it. The bird is drawn sharp, the sea loose and unsettled — havgal is a West Jutland word for weather like this, and the gull stands in it as though it were not. The piece can be seen at Café Sus in Thyborøn.
